What is coaching?

First and foremost, coaching is COMMUNICATION. The coach has the knowledge and necessary techniques to help the client getting to the right answers through questions.

  • What do I want? What are my dreams and goals?
  • What are my values and beliefs? What is important to me? Where do I want to be?
  • With what techniques and what actions can I fulfill my goals and dreams?
  • A coach is a trusted person who will help you get to know yourself and teach you to trust your abilities
  • A coach can help show you how to take responsibility for your life and become the architect of your life
  • Coaching is about looking ahead and moving forward - what and how can I do to make my tomorrow better than today?
  • Coaching mostly specializes in a specific area: changing habits, personal growth, relationships, business, health, etc.

What coaching is NOT?

  • Coaching is not therapy or counseling
  • The coach will not give advice or do things for you
  • Coaching does not promise mountains of dreams and that mountains of money and success will fall from the sky in your hands without doing anything
  • Coaching is not a magic wand for all problems in your life
  • Coaching does not work with very difficult and deeply traumatic experiences
  • Coaching does not look into the past or solve past problems
